Baxter is a 2 year old Cairn Terrier cross West Highland White. He came to Oakwood from West Yorkshire Dog Rescue with his pal Fifi. Initially very aggressive to other dogs, now Baxter enjoys mixing with the creche everyday and playing with some of the other rescues. He does still like to voice his opinions particularly towards big dogs on lead but quickly settles down. Baxter also had some handling issues as he was cruelly treated by a groomer who scruffed and pinned him down. He now enjoys a stroke and fuss once he knows you but he can still get scared in certain situations.
